there are a couple of hardcore documentaries on youtube about this subject.
one is called "Children Underground" about children living in the train stations in Moscow and around Russia..there is another one in 3 parts which is very moving,but i cannot remember the name right now.
if you are on youtube you can type in "russian street children" and i am sure you will find it.
