Most people are too busy in their nice homes/apartments or never have to hang out/live in the bad parts of town here in the U.S. to ever encounter stuff like this. It exists and then some.

Crack/meth houses. areas where drugs are day to day life outside of the crackhouses etc. Projects, slums, the ghetto.

There's child trafficking.. people selling their kids to people to have sex with them etc.

There's bad wherever you go if you look for it in the world.
Or, can do what most people do.. kick the dirt under the rug.
(which is what we see here. BUT we got a glimpse of it.)

Those kids are fucked though.. there probably will be no help available for them.

Was definitely inhalants of some type. Spray paint, glue, freon, some other chemical... maybe even jenkem.
