Didn't think that was a requirement. Is there a minimum number of posts/threads you must create or something? Lol  I am quite busy to say the least. Can't devote my entire time to this. Also, I was away for roughly four months so I guess you can account for that too. |

As requested, here are a few facts and common misconceptions about HIV/Aids: As mentioned by Politkovskaja, HIV is dominantly spread worldwide through heterosexual transmission just to be clear. The idea that HIV/Aids is predominately within homosexual relationships is really based on the stigma surrounding the disease. Also, yes though the virus was originally found among few homosexual men it was also first seen among injecting drug users. 71% of all individuals with HIV live in one region, Saharan Africa. The high rate statistically is maintained due to women giving birth and breastfeeding who are HIV positive. So a lot of children are either born HIV positive or shortly after, are diagnosed. I had to write a paper on the topic so more than willing to post all of the articles if needed  |
