Re: Psoriasis

I have it in the exact same spot on the same leg. I do have a few spots on my head and one arm too. It isn't fun and looks terrible. I have had people think I have a contagious disease and look at me funny. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Psoriasis

I have it too. I have it on my knees, the shaft of my penis, and my ears. I have posted pictures of it on penis on here before. It is interesting, mine gets much worse, the more stressed out I am. I always have it on my right knee, but it only shows up on my penis and my ears when I am stressed out. I you all would like pictures I can take and post them.

Re: Psoriasis

There's got to be something that could help: Get more Exercise, Stop Drinking/Smoking, Change in diet (could be something that you allergic to)... etc

Change your habits and shake things up. Got Nothing to Lose and Everything to Gain... see if you can find relief the Natural way.

Until Then...

Re: Psoriasis

Dude, don't try to teach a guy who's had this for years about his own disease. Change in diet? Really? Wow, I bet he never tried it! I bet he just enjoys wallowing in pain.

What worked for me:
- moving to a sunnier area (as in, tropical). The sun does a lot to relieve the itch.
- keep my nails trimmed super short all the time; you can't always keep from scratching, but if you haven't got nails it limits the damage.

Re: Psoriasis

How does the arthritis coincide with the dry skin?
I always seem to have dry skin on my hands. It never really goes away. No arthritis though.

Re: Psoriasis

i have lived with this disease for about 25yrs now and i was covered from scalp to the soles of my feet it was horrible i hated summer because of shorts and short sleeves but i started on enbrel about 2yrs ago and am now about 80% clear i don't itch or break open and bleed and my arthritis is alot better as well the only downsize is that it weakens my immune system but i will take that over living the way i was living with that crap
I love the warnings they have to give during commercials for grugs like Enbrel, basically it says "You're gonna get cancer, you're gonna die, you're gonna get TB, your gonna get every fungal infection known to man!"

Re: Psoriasis

I have it on my scalp along with aggressive psoriatic arthritis. No fun when it cracks and itches and bleeds!

I have psoriatic arthritis as well. I get it in my back and fingers. I work as a mechanic and it is very very painful to work when it flairs up!
