Re: Pregnant Woman Covered in Maggots
There's NO WAY that a baby could get through a mothers abdominal wall!!! LOL They can't even get through the amniotic sac by themselves! Just think of a newborn, they can't even hold their head up! How in the world do you suppose an infant could get through all the layers of skin, muscle and tissue?? That would be hard for an adult to do with nothing but their... what? What do you think a baby would even use to get out? Their hands? You think it's pushing through with its head??? Uhm... No. The thing that you think is a baby head is an umbilical hernia, as stated by someone above. And this does not have anything to do with a baby's umbilical cord, but a hole in the woman's abdominal wall at the belly button through which the intestines are protruding, causing the lump under the skin that you think is the baby's head. Maggots in and on a body can move a dead body around so much and to such a degree as to move the body across a floor into a different position, and they can also move the body inside their clothes so that their shirt, for example, can end up being on backwards. I don't believe this movement is from the woman nor a baby but from maggots that have filled her abdomen. Again, as stated somewhere above, a baby cannot live for more than several seconds after the mother has passed. This woman has been dead for quite a while, there's nothing living and moving in her stomach but the maggots. |

Re: Pregnant Woman Covered in Maggots
You guys, that is a middle aged woman with an umbilical hernia with major skin breakdown. F you, "I'm a midwife and that is a baby". That is agonal breathing that is causing the jerking of the belly. I've seen so many old women with hernias just like that, and I've seen several of them dying. (I'm an actual nurse, not someone who's going around killing old ladies!! LOL) This is a sad old lady who is dying, not a pregnant person. Seriously.

Re: Pregnant Woman Covered in Maggots
don't think.its NF but you are onto something. my guess is she is deceased and the gases are causing her abdomen to distend through the abdominal muscle opening from previous pregnancy. there is definitely no term baby in there. then again there could just be a big ole rat that's crawled up inside trying to get out!

Re: Pregnant Woman Covered in Maggots
Shes too old to be pregnant. Most likely a belly full of ascites or she is dying from a ruptured aorta and we can see her belly filling with blood. In any case she is not long for this world!

Re: Pregnant Woman Covered in Maggots
There’s nothing to get out except a maggot infested dead fetus, the maggots are making the abdomen heave like that.
