don't get me wrong - it's amazing that doctors are able to do this, to give their patients a new lease on life. just imagine waking up every day, looking in the mirror knowing you have an organ inside of you that was once in someone else, who is now dead. and the person's face.. that's how their face looked when they were dead, and now, that is how you look.

Strangest one I ever saw was a man who had a laryngeal/voicebox transplant. I think his was crushed in a motorcycle accident. Most organ donation I'm fine with, but the larynx? We're talking about the organ another person used to speak with. It's been so long since I've seen the show I can't remember whether or not his "real" voice changed in any way to that of the man who had donated the larynx.

Have to agree with others here, was probably the best one I seen done so far.. Post-op even somewhat resembled his before picture.. And it isn't even his own face..

Now..if they could only transplant eyes/repair optic nerves... Then all these people can see again..
