the concept of organ (and facial) donation is so strange to me. putting something from someone dead into or onto you. soooo weird. don't get me wrong - it's amazing that doctors are able to do this, to give their patients a new lease on life. just imagine waking up every day, looking in the mirror knowing you have an organ inside of you that was once in someone else, who is now dead. and the person's face.. that's how their face looked when they were dead, and now, that is how you look. |
