She was in a hurry to start scooping that Salisbury steak purée into her pie hole and got a little out-of-order on the sequence of events. I had to perform an off-duty mishap investigation on a guy who hurriedly sat down at the dinner table, and when he grabbed the base of the seat to scoot in, he jammed a steak knife in his thigh, all the way to the handle. Shit like this happens. |

Yeah, the elderly can get themselves into some odd pickles. A neighbor somehow managed to get the ring on her door keys completely through the loose skin between her thumb and index finger. I helped her get it out and open her door. She said she would clean it and didn't want to seek medical treatment. I assume she managed cause she's still alive.
