Most often, it's because they intentionally bypass safety features put in place to avoid this exact thing. In this case, they were probably using a push mower and tied the safety lever. The one that automatically turns it off if it isn't being squeezed to the main handle. It would be almost impossible to do it otherwise. Stupidly, there are tutorials on YouTube for how to do this. Cause paying to fix your cable if it breaks or having to restart the mower when you wanna go get something to drink is too hard  |
