Re: Mystery of Pakistan's "solar Kids" Baffles Doctors
Whilst the possibility exists for this being fake, there is another possibility. We do have a pineal gland, that is responsible for changes in behaviour and body function that depends on light-exposure and time of day. What if theirs is hyper-active in some way, over-suppressing certain functions in their brain through some bizarre mechanism? That would be a rare, but very interesting condition. Re: Mystery of Pakistan's "solar Kids" Baffles Doctors
There's a real medical condition called " sundowning", but it effects geriatric patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. I wonder if they have run extensive medical test, done MRI's during the day and at night, because it's either a neurological problem, or a mental one! |
