Um, but it was obtained after having sex last weekend. I mean, it was my first time and then I started getting a fever and I had to pee a lot and it was really dark, so I'm like, "Dangit, I have a UTI." and then it spread to my kidneys. I'm feeling so much better now that I'm on antibiotics and stuff.

I know, and it was... yeah. Completely horribly timed. My mom said, "It's definitely a sign from God telling you to not have sex." No, it's a sign that I should pee after sex. And thank you! I enjoyed myself and my boyfriend seemed to as well, and we plan to again. (Er, I spent the weekend at his place, so we had time but I'm still getting used to it. It didn't hurt until a certain point, so it's not painful until it goes in too far... I guess.) |

That's what I thought! And my mother was so nosy when she called last week. She had a general idea that I had sex because I never mentioned sleeping in my room, but mentioned being at his house... so, she said, "Did it hurt? Did you bleed?" My God. |

Oh, I know. And then to lighten the mood, she said, "Why the heck would you choose a black guy to do it for the first time with?!" All I could say was, "Mom, he's 3/4 black, remember?" I mean, she's trying, but it's just weird. I don't care if she knows, but there are some weird questions. I remember last year, I had my first kiss. My mom said, "Was there tongue?!" My dad said, "Honey, no." |
