Re: Miscarriages and Abortions
No one talks about the issues of child abuse and neglect. I've had the misfortune to live in a large central California city. As you know, California loves to support the dregs of society. There were hundreds if not thousands, of teenagers and young adults with gaggles of kids, no education and no job. Half of their kids are little gangbangers in the making the other half have physical and/or mental problems. ALL of them will be second or third generation welfare recipients for life and we'll support many in prison. Pro life folks don't worry about the baby AFTER its born! I've seen "grandparents" (I use that term loosely!) who are in their early 30's!!! Their kids breed just like the parents, as soon as puberty hits, they start popping them out, all with different "baby daddies". I, for one, do not want to support someone else's kids! As a single father, I raised my son with a good education, morals, values, manners, ect.....why? because I cared. Why force someone that doesn't care, to give birth? Doesn't make sense to me!

Re: Miscarriages and Abortions
So..here comes my useless two cents... Thinking outside the box. So? woman can have an abortion... what if the man wants to keep the baby? he doesn't get a say? or.. What if? the man wants an abortion? once more..no say for him... I wouldn't want any of my children to have been aborted. (I have 2 kids.) But just something that comes to mind when I read/hear pro-choice/pro-life battles... No one ever thinks about what the father may or may not want... Same woman that will keep the kid the man doesn't want will be quick as shit to go for support... (I know...he can terminate his rights.. but he'll have to do some responsible thing like meeting the kid when he/she is 18+ yrs old and they hunt him down..) As will, the same woman who wants to go out and party and be irresponsible will get an abortion even if the man wants to keep/raise said child. etc. Just my fucked up view on things... |

Re: Miscarriages and Abortions
I am a firm believer in pro choice. Another woman's body is none of my business and what she chooses to do is between her and whatever God she believes in. I personally could and never would have an abortion. I am personally not mentally strong for that. It's not your vagina worry about your own. |

So what? You don't seem to get all the thousands of ways pregnancies can go horribly wrong. Something the size of an egg or smaller doesn't have more rights than the mother.

Re: Miscarriages and Abortions
Men don't get a say unless the woman wants to let him have one. No, my rapist doesn't get to insist I bear his child so he can sue for custody to have his own new personal victim at home. The average women who has an abortion is in a relationship and already has children but cannot take care or support another one. |
