My favorite part is that most pro-lifers don't give a flying fuck after the kid is born, just that it is born. I say this because most pro-lifers are GOP friendly, right wingers that support defunding planned parenthood and welfare, despite being the ones most likely to USE aforementioned agencies. :D

Life is not sacred. If it were? We wouldn't fucking treat people the way [we - as in we as a people] do, there wouldn't be war, and no one would be starving to death or sick without treatment.

And yes, it is sad to see dead babies. Those aren't babies, those are fetuses. None of them could have survived outside the womb and I would even say that they - from my guesstimates on gestation length - were around the same level of neural activity as a fish.

And we slaughter them gleefully. By the millions.

'But those are fish, we're talking people!' A fetus is not a person. It's a conglomerate of cells and growing systems that has the potential to become a person.

Three of those four images appear to be miscarriages. The fetus' are already decomposed on some level.

The moment when the egg meets the sperm. Unfortunately too many of us are too quick to dismiss that life begins at conception. Is a seed for a plant a useless bit of material or is there life inside of it just waiting to be planted, watered & nurtured by nature? Seeds only take a few days to sprout, clearly showing there is life inside of it, how more so a human embryo/fetus. I know there are a lot of people who would disagree with me but according to God life begins in the womb at conception.

God also made Eve from one of Adam's ribs, made wearing clothes made of mixed fibres a no-no, and gave his kid the ability to pull cool party tricks like morphing water into wine.

To reiterate khiarhu, just because a seed germinates doesn't mean it's a mature plant; it has the potential to be a plant. Fertilized ova are potential organisms.

To clarify, I don't support "recreational" abortion, if that term makes any sense. However, if I'm to tell a woman that if she partakes in it because she doesn't feel like she can afford the child, and my reasons for making it illegal are founded upon religion-based moral code and "life is precious", then I should be obligated to help care for the child. It's hypocrisy at its finest.

During pregnancy it's "Abortion is murder, life is precious, you have to have that baby."
After delivery it's "Good luck, you poor bastard, your momma should have been more responsible."

If life truly is precious, then it is precious at any age, in any color, and beyond all borders.
