Re: Miscarriage at 6 Weeks
I've had a miscarriage (actually I've had 4 of them; one of them were twins). It was my first pregnancy and after 6 weeks it went wrong. At first something came out that looked EXACTLY what you've showed here in the last two pictures. I thought it had to be the embryo... But a couple of hours later and a LOT of cramps later, I lost the actual embryo. Still intact, completely in a sack with a small placenta-like thing attached to it. The embryo itself was just as tiny as the half of the nail of my little finger. So I guessed that what first came out (the same as this) was the tissue which closed the cervix during pregnancy. During my other pregnancies (resulting 3 kids) losing this kind of tissue was the first sign of starting labor. So it confirmed my thoughts about the tissue from my first miscarriage. Are you sure there was no tissue left in your uterus after losing this? If it was all clean it could be a molar pregnancy. (Was my second pregnancy, but I didn't see the tissue itself, only with the ultrasound. I got a curretage with that one.) Hope this will help? |
