Re: Mediterranean Reaper Spider Bite Causes Victim's Ear Turn to Turn BLACK
Poisonous arachnids are extremely rare in the NW. Somebody found one, already dead, Black Widow spider in the girls bathroom at my elementary school and everybody freaked. They evacuated the school and wouldn't resume lessons until after exterminators gassed the place |

If it weren't for spiders the world would be completely overrun by insects. You're much more likely to catch malaria from a mosquito bite than lose an ear to a spider. |

Re: Mediterranean Reaper Spider Bite Causes Victim's Ear Turn to Turn BLACK
I once had a friend who was bitten in her sleep by a bunch of brown recluse spiders. She was rushed to the hospital immediately & was already too late to completely help. I watched her die over a period of almost a year, too much venom had been absorbed by her body & it attacked her major body organs. She was a very nice person it was of course a sad situation. |

I was bitten on the upper arm by a brown recluse. I've got a huge dented scar where my tissue was eaten away. Took months and time in the hospital to heal.
