i don't know how this started but it looks like necrotizing fasciitis. if thats the case i dont think any of that tissue can be saved, it would all have to be debraded. Horror is not always ghosts. True horror is reality invaded by something too insidious to even seem true. One of my exes was in med school. At her clinical rotations there was a lady in one of the hospitals who had necrotizing fasciitis, in other words a flesh eating disease. it had started in her groin area and spread from there. my ex told me that the woman's legs, thighs and hips had all been skinned and debraded. she said there was nothing there, you could see the muscle, fat and tendons exposed. the lady was able to see herself like this, she was very aware of her condition. my ex said every time she went in the room to check on her the lady would just start crying. there wasn't anything that could really be done. she was just stuck there seeing herself like that while day after day passed by. my ex confessed she would think about that woman alot. |
