we fought lice when our daughter was in kindergarden...it was a never ending battle it seemed untill we discovered tea tree oil! That stuff rocks! put a few drops in a spray bottle with water and wet the hair with it, wrap head in a plastic shopping bag (not the whole head just the hair...lol) leave on for 30 mins or so...the lice will all run out of the hair and into the bag and die...it is really funny to watch because they start running when you start spraying...then be sure to comb out the nits and wash all clothes and sheets and things...bam they are gone!
