your weight also plays a big part of it. obese people are going to have more severe seatbelt injuries. so eat a few less super sized cheeseburgers people, trust me, that diet coke aint helping.

My uncle is allergic to seatbelts and he ended up getting into an accident. He flew around inside his car hitting things with his head and was flung out of his car and thankfully he didn't get hit by any other cars. He is temporarily (?) paralyzed from the waist down and in physical/occupational therapy and he has a lot of spasms. He wouldn't be going through this shit had he wore his seatbelt. Learn from him and wear your seatbelt.

I would have gladly taken the bruises over my face hitting the steering wheel when I was 17. Had to get stitches on my eyelid, broke my nose, and I have permanent scars on my chin and nose.
