Ha, it's more the texture and color of the surrounding muscle that makes me think of chicken. I see a lot of interesting cross-sectiony business in meat due to feeding my cats raw. The half-hand here looked to me like a tightly packed row of drumettes viewed from one end with the "knobs" cut off.
