I saw that episode. He's a homeless guy (which I'm pretty sure you can already tell). He got hurt some how, can't remember how, tho. Anyway, as you can tell by the pic, all they do is rinse off the maggots. they then used anti-bacterial soap, washed his leg, and sent him on his way. Other than som redness, there was no wound anymore. the maggots kept his sore clean, which allowed his leg to heal. Its pretty obvious from the pic, but he was walking around with the maggots for some time. He didnt notice them at first, until his pantleg started to feel funny, and noticed maggots everywhere he went. Which apparently, ISN'T commonplace with bums. |
