Well that right there is a death sentence for the bear. Getting attacked because you’re in her territory while she has cubs, it’s your fault and you should have known better. But her following you for 3 miles, after you pepper sprayer her, and trying to eat you again… well that means she is desperate for food OR she has already attacked someone before. Either way there is a high chance it will happen again. But he sure was extremely lucky, and stupid at the same time for not carrying a rifle with him. In case I lived in an area that had bears around, I’d carry both the pepper spray and a shotgun with me at all the times. It’s always nice to have a backup in case plan A goes south. |
