Re: Giving Birth by Cesarean Section
Fuck me that's brutal! And clamping the cord so quickly??!!! Before the baby's even pinked up. Such bad practice; he didn't even check if it had started breathing and he's cutting off its supply of oxygen. Barbaric. If I ever had to have a c-section I'd want it to be as natural as possible. |

Re: Giving Birth by Cesarean Section
I'll never understand why people say this. I'd rather have a numb, thin scar above my pubic line than possibly have a 3rd degree tear involving my vaginal muscle, perineum, and anus, with searing, burning pain every time I pee, a dramatically weaker pelvic floor, urine leakage, painful sex for years to come, and likely PTSD from the ordeal. It's earth-mothers like you who are told they have 11 pound babies yet who INSIST on birthing vaginally, and who then sue the hospital when their baby gets shoulder dystocia and suffers brain damage. |

Re: Giving Birth by Cesarean Section
That was a little rough to watch. I've only had one child but I said going in to have him that if anything should happen, they need to knock me completely out or do it without drugs. Something about knowing that they're going to be cutting on me makes me lightheaded. I had a small mole removed on my back near my bra line and all they did was numb it and I still nearly passed out. They had to stop and make sure I was okay. Shew!
