Probably one of the top bizarre procedures I've ever had to do was a on 15yo girl who was anorexic. She was pretty, very thin of course, and had this little Buddha belly. She complained of constipation and cramping and hadn't had a bowel movement in 10 days. When we scanned her, her entire bowel was full and compacted (hence the distention).
