Re: Frozen Pea Torture
Me too. Also, wooden spoons, shoes, my guitar until nothing was left but the neck. I always had welts up and down my arms...bruises all over my body. The belt was used with the buckle end. I know what you went through. My parents (mom/stepfather) feel they did nothing wrong.

Re: Frozen Pea Torture
AND WE THINK WE ARE A SUPERIOR RACE.------ NO WONDER THE "UFO'S" KEEP THEIR DISTANCE. WE ARE ALL BUT CAVEMEN SO FAR, if we survive, we may be able to tame the horror stories. Myself, I am waiting for the extraterrestrials to show up and clean this planet up. ------- ------- And that also means getting rid of evil torturing adults. |

Re: Frozen Pea Torture
I can remember my father making me kneel on cracked walnut shells for an eternity when I was a little kid; I had gone out to play with friends and got carried away and forgot to go home on time; my father said the reason he did it was to have some idea of the pain my parents went through wondering where I was as the time got later and later. I never returned home late again |

Re: Frozen Pea Torture
I am REALLY sorry to hear this and as a parent couldn't imagine abusing my children this way. And to think they still think they did nothing wrong, iam sure they were treated this way but that does NOT make it right. I was beaten with a wooden spoon, two by four, and a stick my Mother kept by her chair to whack me with when she felt the need. I have NEVER treated my kids in that fashion and I never will. The Mama in me says I'm sorry to you.

Re: Frozen Pea Torture
I was punished in a similar fashion when I lived on the farm with my grandmother while I was little. My mom had breast cancer when I was born so she sent me to live with her while she got treatment. Anyway, she would pour some grits on the floor and have me kneel in them. Hurts like Hell!
