Someone perforated their bowel and was in such a hurry to get to the hospital that they forgot their best friend. That's my theory.

We had a man come into the ER and say that he tripped and fell on a curtain rod(the round ones with a ball on the end). He came to our hospital because he was in the military and couldn't go to the military hospital a few miles from his home. He couldn't go to the other hospital in town because his wife worked in that ER. When they pushed his gurney through the department, they had covered him with a sheet and it looked like a tent rolling through the ER.
