What people need to realise is that people are entitled to their own opinions. Whether you agree with it or not or if they differ from what you think tough shit, people can't go around trying to sway peoples thoughts.
When pictures like this get posted they open people up to all sorts of comments, good and bad and joking around.

most cutters try to hide it. i never showed mine, they were in a place no one would see unless i were in my underwear. but every cutter is different, just like every addict and alcoholic is different.

true. i still like to provide a little information for understanding. i am obviously not the cutter in question here, but i am a recovering cutter.

Self harm is a personal and sometimes private thing to each individual. My point was not to make it personal to yourself on here (by identifying yourself as the person) if you're going to dismiss others concern for your behaviour. We all look at stuff on here for the 'gore' factor but this does not mean we don't have an emotional attachment to the subject matter.
