Yeah, not everyone who does this does it for attention, absolutely not. Folk should be a wee bit more careful in immediately calling them attention seekers. A lot do it to mask other pains. They cut to cause pain and distraction, just for that moment, to block out a bad memory or current pain, etc. Very sad.
