That's right you never know. Who knows what advances will be made in twenty or thirty years. She may not need the drugs all her life, just until they come up with something better and they may even find a cure for cancer so I say buying the child time is worth it.

Was it a human heart? Because if it is then a million kudos for the parents who let donated the organs of their dead baby to give life to another. Or maybe it was an orphan. Either way, it is a much nobler fate than just rotting.
