I am sorry for what happens to her, but how in the earth that doctor and parents still bring her up? I mean, there is no chance that she will be a normal person or an educated person, given that she can't even chew. What does parents think? Will she has any future? What will she feel if supposes that she has a full conscious and look into the mirror and then go and watch at the corridor and see other normal people walking around?

She has no eyes, so therefore she can't see. So, looking in a mirror wouldn't be an issue.
