This is very very very very common.

Gas is readily available and people are generally clueless.

Most of the time, people get wake up calls or mildly burned using gasoline in this way.

But when gas is easily accessible and you are too lazy and so 'see no need' for going all the way to the store for some kerosene based lighter fluid...
