Re: Breast Cancer Journey
My dad is fine and enjoys his life. The left "breast" amputated, chemical chemo therapy. During Corona he isolated himself a lot. He's above 70 yo, was a heavy smoker and still prefers his coffee with a shot of whisky or the other way round. I just don't meet him too often, as I live and work 1000 km away from my home. "Funny" thing: my boss was diagnosed with cancer by the same doc my dad had. Turned out my boss went on vacation in my hometown, thought he caught a food poisoning, went to hospital and met my dads doc... He was back after one and a half year. Hairs back and looking good again. regular check ups are obviously necessary from a certain age. |
