Re: Boy Jumps From a Building

what a fucking joke.... seriously grow the fuck up and play a damn video game already... it's so obvious you want to, lol... video games are not the problem, Mr Blamey Blamerson... dumbass, useless, wet cake, fucktard parents who won't dicipline their kids are the problem...
The parents? Really? Quit blaming the parents until you have tried to raise a teenager in puberty with raging hormones, testosterone, depression, assuming self awareness, esteem issues, sexual orientation and identity, dot dot dot. ALL teenagers are mentally ill by definition. Literally. They can't help it, they just are. Its the hardest part of life to get through and kids at school are demons who prey on the weak and exploit ALL faults. Life is tough as a teen. Video games are sometimes the only dissociative relief they can get from this world seeing they are too young to do anything else like drive, drink, travel, have sex without knowing what the heck you're doing. Yes, sometimes parents are to blame but you guys are not correct in thinking someone else must always be to blame. Its biological. Don't get me started in blaming the video games.....

It will if you don’t land properly. But that kid landed right in the sweet spot and probably only had minor injuries. Lucky bastard
Are you sure bc when you look closely, is that a mark on the inflatable or is it his leg? Its definitely separated from him whatever it is.

Re: Boy Jumps From a Building

To be completely honest.... as a mother of a 9 (very nearly 10 year old) I know from personal experience the addictive mentality our children have for these 'XBOX/PS/ETC' consoles and 'web cams, YouTube' accounts.

'Epic Games' and other MASSIVE media companies put out games where you have to play to get into the next level or you get forfeited. They encourage friends of yours to 'compete' with you and if you lose.... you fucking FEEL the consequences of it. If you leave the game, they offer you real 'V bucks' (real £'s) to come back.

It's disgusting, but very clever of them. The level you're at determines skill and performance levels, and they are rewarded!

... all the while they encourage your school friends/cousins/brothers and sisters to either be some sort of 'Demigod'.. or your killer. (Fortnite is what my child loves) I let him play under constant supervision.

What do you do when everyone plays this.. the fact is, if you don't then 'who/what are you!?' Then the one's who don't, well, they're bullied for not playing it.

Its sickening.

Way back in 1990.. footsack time.. there was a movie where a family left civilisation for the wilderness.

I want to do that. With all of my heart and soul.

My son and I. Just us.

God. I'd give everything to get away from this awful fucking mess.

My little boy was four years old when we relocated to Wells, in Somerset. We've been on our own and survived 'incredibly well' on our own since then.

It's been an incredible five years just us two. But this PLAYSTATION 4/XBOX ONE, these games. Well, they are literally so addictive, that I have to unplug this machine and lock it up in my safe for a day or two to wake my son up

I have to lock it up to encourage him to cook with me in the kitchen. (A favourite pastime for me. From growing up with a French Grandmother)

We have an epidemic here
This is the dumbest comment I've ever read. It's called competition moron. Being competitive is good for kids. What the fuck do you think sports are? Competition. Video games are no different. They teach kids to be competitive and work towards goals like leveling up. I'm sorry but that's a good thing. What the hell do you mean if you lose you FEEL the consequences? Kids in my family lose a match and say oh well and move on to the next match. They die on a game and they laugh at it and try again. If he's taking it too seriously it's probably because you are. You're on here watching a kid commit suicide and you have the nerve to whine about how traumatizing fortnite is. Also I'm pretty sure the reason your son doesn't want to cook with you is because he's a little boy, not many little boys love cooking for fun. Your ignoring what he likes to do and trying to force him to like what you like. Most 9 yr old little boys don't have the same interests as women in their 30s and 40s. I thought this was common sense but apparently you didn't know. Locking up his console is something you should only do as a punishment when he's misbehaving not because he likes it too much. That's stupid I feel so sorry for your poor kid you are clueless lady. :facepal

Agreed! Good riddance, I say. (Sorry)- impressive save by the rescuers with that massive blow up thing.
