A baby who was born blind and without a skull is being cared for by a kindly Buddhist monk over Christmas.

Nurafaiha, from Sayaburi in Thailand, cannot take milk normally and has to be fed through a tube
Monk Bhin and the foundation are well known for good works in assisting poor families with special needs.

The other four children in the Nurafaiha's family all go to school, which is a challenge when the family only have the father's meagre income from his job in a factory.

Nurafaiha needs regular hospital treatment and, in the future, will need several operations on her face and skull.

Monk Bhin has so far been able to raise 200,000 Thai baht (£4,400) from the foundation funds and individuals who have responded to his Facebook appeals to assist the family.

Frankly I think the poor creature should be euthanized and given a proper burial rather than being subjected to a bunch of "experimental" surgeries and a horrible "life" of nothing more than blindness, pain and confusion.

If they want to help a child they should find one that has a chance and give them that chance.

She definitely looks like a conjoined twins situation. Definitely two heads. Often, internal MRIs and even simple x-rays will show additional parts of the two incorporated in the dominant twin's body. This poor baby has no chance at all, even if she came to the US. I am thankful that some have been kind to her while she is alive.
