Herpes is contagious even when people don't have active sores. So somebody could LOOK perfectly fine and still be sharing viruses with you... so the lack of herpes sores does NOT mean your potential partner doesn't have herpes!

Poor kids I am in a monogamous relationship so I don't use condoms.
I am to but for I got with my man I used condoms all the time. You never know who or what the other person slept with before you.
And yes very sad for the kids.
