Your arms are also deployed backward at about 200mph. If seen arms broken from this and also face damage from arm impacts. At one time they changed the common 10 o'clock 2 o'clock position for hands on the steering wheel to 8 and 4 to minimize some injuries to the face.

Funny fact, US Airbags are totally different from the ones designed for Europe. They are way bigger, so they can hold "the whole body" because some still don't wear a seatbelt... In Europe you have to wear them, if you don't and the Airbag deploys, it can snap your neck, cause you go over the Airbag with your body. |
