I t-boned a woman only going around 25 mph and the airbag broke + burnt the shit out of my left forearm. They're as dangerous as they are helpful; without the airbag there would have been no injuries more than likely.

I am a mechanic and I can tell you I have been hit by one twice, and it is not that bad. Yes it hurts, but if you are wearing your seat belt and sitting the proper distance away from the steering wheel, you are much better off than without the airbag. -Will |

They are not as dangerous as they are helpful, ASSUMING you wear your seat belt and hold the steering wheel properly. I still believe we would all be safer if we wore 6-point harnesses and sat in non-reclineable seats, like I have in my race car. -Will |
