Watching carefully, her first step into the apparently open hole doesn't result in a fall. In fact her foot seems planted solidly as she doesn't even show signs of losing her balance. Only on her second step does she go down. Can't quite figure that out. The photos of the open manhole don't help.

That looked more like half a manhole cover. The other half flipped cause the girl stepped on an unbraced part of it. Bigger question; why was there a surveillance cam pointed at the manhole? |

I think its the manhole cover. She isn't that heavy and the covers are heavy. You can see her feet going downwards when she steps in the hole. The first people that arrived throw the manhole cover away. At least I think that is the case. |
