Re: Young Girl and Bf Kills Her Mother and Buries the Body
The magnanimous apologists here like to jack off to the idea that the mercy they so generously bestow, at zero cost to themselves, makes them better than those who put enough value on life that the price for taking another's is your own. He will never grieve for the victims he casts aside so he can conspicuously "mourn" for their youthful killer. He won't be the prison employee attacked and maimed, he won't be the other child killed in custody by the precious 12 year old he feels so protective of, or the clerk killed after she's paroled. Once someone kills, ESPECIALLY at that formative age, there is no turning back, no replacing the barrier between the human and the animal. |

Re: Young Girl and Bf Kills Her Mother and Buries the Body
I feel like every time Vedderman comments, I learn a new word. "Poltroon" — I had to look it up. Regarding your statement, I just wanted to say it is refreshing to hear that. This isn't the place to go into details, but I've spent 15 years listening to people (and I mean everyday Americans) wish my younger brother an agonizing death for a capital crime committed at 14. We've made great strides in terms of juvenile justice reform, but not enough. Here, the perpetrators are aged 12 and 16, so it makes me wonder if there were any mitigating circumstances (not an excuse for their actions) to consider. We have to ask the question...What kind of hell enables a 12 year old (and even the 16 year old) to kill? Science says the brain isn't even fully developed in children and teens that age. |

Re: Young Girl and Bf Kills Her Mother and Buries the Body
More uninformed ignorance and authoritarian bloodthirst from the same guy who constantly advocates for building a wall and dropping neutron bombs on black ghettos. Moron. Without even doing any research and just off the top of my head: Juliet Hulme and Pauline Parker, who committed basically THIS EXACT SAME CRIME together by beating Parker's mother to death with a brick because she objected to their close friendship. They each served 5 years and were then released because they were minors at the time of the crime. 64 years later, they're both still functional and productive members of society, one of them the award-winning author of over 45 novels. The animal here is you, 'GlowingGhoul.' And all of the other barbaric authoritarians who believe reform is a myth and that it is somehow right and just and good to ALWAYS punish murder with murder. Even in the case of young children. |

Re: Young Girl and Bf Kills Her Mother and Buries the Body
Do not mix up all kind of things and lay definitions aside. The happy end case "Juliet Hulme and Pauline Parker", might be the exception that defines the rule. They might have been lucky in their rehabilitation proces, and not mentally challenged or not have had a personality disorder... I'm only guessing These are totally diff. times, not at all so much forgive and forget anymore. Impaired folks like sociopaths - google ! - are not curable. They might be somewhat helped, or drugged, locked up, but much lies in their own hands, impuls control, and brains. The influence of their surroundings and the social pressure, makes another billion halls of books. Something else: the developpement of the adult brain is final at 21-25 years of age. The dev. of the personality stretches about as long as this time. |

Didn't approve of the relationship? That's putting it lightly. If I catch some 16 yeat old layin' the pipe to my 12 year old daughter, no one would ever find him.
