2nd January 2017, Sihanoukville, Cambodia - A young couple, identified only by media as British have been found apparently hanged in a guest house rental room. I suspect murderous forces were involved in staging an apparent suicide, as the pair are obviously gagged, blindfolded and may have their hands bound behind their backs. I'll update this if anything else is reported.

First off, great fuckin find. I haven't searched in Khmer all week so I totally missed this.

Based on the reports I am reading, this is still being treated as a suicide. Despite the odd trappings involved, suicide notes were hand-written and left with instructions to be mailed to both decedents' families. I'll post copies as soon as I have edited their families' personal information out of the photos.

Furthermore, from a physiological standpoint, you can clearly see that the female urinated her shorts, with wet urine still visible on her upper thigh in one image. This image censors the bodies, but you can plainly see the drying urine puddle right under her feet. Fairly clear indication that she actually died from asphyxia in that exact spot.

Possibly is suicide, without anything more 'sinister' involved. Partial note left (Pictured) The two appear to be musicians, with a fbook page with just the two images, also added.

When I first started prepping this post, many people were suspecting that someone else was involved. It now seems to be a clear suicide. Thanks for the input matey

One of the perils (and joys) of really fresh news. Sometimes there's a bit of overlap and sometimes details change throughout the day/week. It's still an odd fucking setup for a suicide, no doubt. Hopefully we'll get more comprehensive pics of the scene.

One of the journalists whose site I was on was bellyaching, however, that the cops were being real pissy about letting photographers in, since they were British citizens. So we might not have much luck past what's already surfaced, though the stuff we do have is pretty damned solid already. Cheers.
