Re: Woman Dead from Electric Accident
It doesn't require a huge immersion heater to make a large tub of water hot, but the coffee cup size makes the task time-consuming

Re: Woman Dead from Electric Accident
In the 90's, had my little run in county jail.. they had outlets, people would take the foil from packs of cigarettes, fold them into a boomerang and insert one each into each slot of the outlet in the cell. fill their cup of ramen noodles with water, and insert the foil sticking out of the outlet into the cup. (Hold it up to the outlet basically) The pieces of foil are known as "Stingers" and can be fashioned from foil, or any metal you can bend and fit into an outlet. Since I was in jail in the late 90's, county jail here no longer has outlets in the cells nor can you smoke in jail anymore. People were getting zapped using stingers and blowing the fuses/damaging the electrical wiring in the prison using stingers, they would accidentally touch them together while in the electrical outlet and in turn short the circuit causing damage. |
