Indeed it is. I personally know one of the drone operators who works out of PA.

Re: US Kills Iran’s Most Powerful General in Baghdad Airstrike
That perhaps the dumbest thing I've read recently. I wish people had a better understanding of history, and the scope of the events. To compare Trump to Hitler is just so fucking stupid. I don't like Trump myself. But to call Trump Hitler is such a slap in the face to all the people he murdered, hurt, robbed, destroyed. It's a slap in the face of history. Trump ordered the killing of a killer. We can debate whether this General was in the act of carrying out missions against Americans. But there is no debating this general was responsible for killing hundreds to thousands of people. And do you think Obama went to Congress to ask if he can kill Bin Laden? No, he didn't. Why? Because these are top secret missions, and they have windows of opportunity. But anyway, people are so far removed from the atrocities of Hitler. And as it turns out, Trump likely was getting good information from experts. Not elected officials, but people who have spent their entire careers accessing our threats. And they knew that this is the best way to deal with a nation like Iran. They needed to be reminded that we can and we will reach out and take your pieces off the board whenever we want. So leave us alone. |
