Re: US Army "Kill Team" Posing With The Dead
My brother in law, sister, and best friend don't give a fuck about magnets, stickers, etc.All of them are military, everyone has a different opinion about them.As for the media, they damn well don't say shit when someone dies.We never EVER hear about a fallen soldier, the media is too busy talking about some stupid fuck who got shot at a house party, or some stupid fucking moronic child dying after they played CHICKEN with a car.

Re: US Army "Kill Team" Posing With The Dead
Our news never reports about casulties. And I watch the news every day. That week when 6 101st airborne soldiers got killed, they didn't say anything about it.Unless its a casulty from Indiana we never hear about it.And i'm not saying I speak for others, i'm saying that each soldier can have a different mentality of things. To you, those ribbons show that people care, to another soldier, it could be interpreted as 'oh look, I can pretend I did my part by buying this magnet'.I'm sure there are hundreds of other interpretations of them aswell.

Re: US Army "Kill Team" Posing With The Dead
I think its more the national news that reports it, not your local news. Unless the soldier is from your state or was based there. And the proceeds from magnets go to military families, so even know its a little, everyone adds up. And its not really doing a part, its helping families of soldiers because you care. Or you don't, it does'nt matter to me.
