Re: US Army "Kill Team" Posing With The Dead

I'm going to go ahead and call you out there jr. I don't believe you have been in the military son. If you had you would know soldiers know dam well what they face. That's a bunch of shit that's basically pure ignorance about the military. And as far as the small acts of patriotism, you know supporting the troops magnets. I'm a military man from a military family and that stuff means something to me. Your comments show you don't get the military families of America all share a bond through there suffering and sacrifice. They put the stickers or whatever to comfort eachother, to show you are not alone and it brings them together. What you got against that? You act as if every time one of our soldiers dies they don't announce it in the news. According to you before we go to war we should carry a gruesome deceased body of one of our soldiers through the streets? Then what? Ask people is this what you want? Of coarse no one would say yes, take my son. And if America was like that, there would not be a America now. You would make a good Canadian.
My brother in law, sister, and best friend don't give a fuck about magnets, stickers, etc.All of them are military, everyone has a different opinion about them.As for the media, they damn well don't say shit when someone dies.We never EVER hear about a fallen soldier, the media is too busy talking about some stupid fuck who got shot at a house party, or some stupid fucking moronic child dying after they played CHICKEN with a car.

So you speak for other people. And maybe you should watch the news, I see it every time so I guess you aren't paying attention. And sure there's soldiers who probably don't care, like your family but their the minority.

Our news never reports about casulties. And I watch the news every day. That week when 6 101st airborne soldiers got killed, they didn't say anything about it.Unless its a casulty from Indiana we never hear about it.And i'm not saying I speak for others, i'm saying that each soldier can have a different mentality of things. To you, those ribbons show that people care, to another soldier, it could be interpreted as 'oh look, I can pretend I did my part by buying this magnet'.I'm sure there are hundreds of other interpretations of them aswell.

I think its more the national news that reports it, not your local news. Unless the soldier is from your state or was based there. And the proceeds from magnets go to military families, so even know its a little, everyone adds up. And its not really doing a part, its helping families of soldiers because you care. Or you don't, it does'nt matter to me.

They are shown, if a soldier dies from your area, go to his funeral. And show your respect.
I have not seen a coffin containing a dead american soldier yet on TV, far as I know its still illegal.
In a free country, with a free press, why is that illegal?

Re: US Army "Kill Team" Posing With The Dead

I know what you meant, I just didn't have, and still don't have the same experience with the military as you seem to have had. What I get from you is we should show the dead bodies of our soldiers on tv so people's perception is war is horrible and we shouldn't do it. I'm saying people already know that. We don't need to become barbaric like our enemy and display our dead for political bullshit.
I told you before I was in the 101rst.
Nobody said anything about dead bodys, we're talking about closed coffins being offloaded from planes............
