Re: US Army "Kill Team" Posing With The Dead
As if those muslims don't do far worse things. Great photos BTW. Stop your whining. It's war. If it wasn't so aweful we would like it too much. Be glad it's nasty. As for photos of dead muslims... |

Re: US Army "Kill Team" Posing With The Dead
there are only a couple pics that are objectionable. it is simply a lack of discipline. in their defense; for all we know, an hour or two prior, they were probably being shot at. imagine youre in a firefight where all kinds of chemical reactions are taking place within your body and mind, your adrenaline spikes through the roof, endorphins kick in and your body goes into hyper-reactive survival mode. this stress is sustained for who the fuck knows how long. then, when theres a lull in the battle, your body begins to relax. you become almost loopy maybe even detached. kind of like when you find yourself in danger or you get the shit scared out of you and you start laughing hysterically... for no apparent reason. imagine THAT feeling- magnified to an astronomical degree. chemical reactions and fog of war aside, maybe its a satisfactory impulse- the "got 'em" mentality. is it distasteful to somebody ON THE OUTSIDE looking in? sure. but again, a couple of hours earlier that young man was probably spraying fire indiscriminately at the soldiers. if it were the soldiers who got wasted, we all know what they would do to them.... people sometimes act out in ways that are abnormal or unbecoming. im not excusing, just empathizing with their situation. you can sit here smoking your weed, chiming in about how every war fighter is an inhuman robotized murderer... with complete disregard for human life, but unless you KNOW what its like, your opinion is invalid. if you are a u.s. citizen, you should take a few seconds to think about how lucky you are instead of sermonizing on war etiquette. you have the RIGHT to wave any obligation to fight in that shit-hole. consider yourself fortunate enough that you dont have to take another human life to save yours or your buddy's. |

Re: US Army "Kill Team" Posing With The Dead
i actually read the info. i jumped the gun and scrolled through the comments and posted. helps to read first, doesnt it. these men are the exception and they will be held accountable. but i stand by my previous post, because i have seen many comments regarding how "fucked up" we are in other threads displaying dead and dying iraqis. |

Re: US Army "Kill Team" Posing With The Dead
Thank you for that post joak.Your information sound's first hand and truly knowledgeable.I for one appreciate your opinion being stated the way it was because I have an 18 yr. old daughter who is leaving for Parris Island on July 11th,and putting ourselves in A soldier's frame of mind should happen A hell of alot more before people state their thought's in ignorance.I don't think anyone of us can truly understand what you were talking about because you have to have first hand experience's such as your's to be able to comprehend what A soldier goes through in combat.Your right to say that their oppinion is invalid, because it is unless they have been there.Again thanks for putting it in term's hopefully people will be able to understand. |
