It wasn't clear, that's true. They worked for the farm and installed the fence is what I could gather. Maybe they were testing it |

The test was successful, i'd say!  Seriously, they were there to steal some fishes: they've been waiting until dark and entered the propriety, unaware of the presence of the electric fence, which was made by the owner some time before: one was in the water and started throwing fishes to his accomplice who slipped and fell in the water, instinctively grabbed the fence, then the fatal contact between the two took place. |
