Wasn't sure if to put this in the hanged women's thread?? Anyway... A transvestite identified as CK was found dead inside the house on Thursday in the town of Maués, in the interior of the Amazon. CK hung herself in the house. According to information circulating in newsgroups on WhatsApp, CK killed herself after discovering that she was being betrayed by her boyfriend.    |

How does it hurt anyone to use the preferred terms someone wants. It is no more harmful to YOU than being asked to refer to someone as "Sir" or "Ma'am" as a form of respect. I see this as no different. Focus on other more serious issues than how others see themselves, unless they see themselves as Dictator or King and are no more fit to run a country or tell others what to do than Nero or Caligula were. THEN worry about that. Transgender people are not hurting anyone and are just trying to live their lives. As someone recently told me about my intense dislike of the "Kartrashians", "if you don't like them then just ignore them and change the channel".

Susan Marie. Thank you for the dignified write up on this suicide and using "she" instead of "he". And for the record EVERYONE a Transvestite wears women's clothing because they get a sexual thrill from it. They don't really want to be women, they just like the feel of the clothes. A Transsexual sees themselves born with a body defect. They see their penis or vagina and breasts as we would an ugly wart or growth on their body. They do not feel they are the sum of what their outer sex characteristics say they are and want this defect changed. Just an FYI. |
