Thailand - Couple Shot Dead Inside Their Shop
At midday on 2nd September 2018 in a shop in Thepha Songkhla District (Thailand), the owners were murdered. 2 masked men pulled up to the shop on a motorbike, one of them entered + made a purchase. He took out his gun + shot 63 year old B.C. Her husband, 65 year old D.C., tried to wrestle the gun from the man but was also shot. The couple were both killed with 2 shots to their heads. They were cremated 6 days later. Residents raised 1 million baht + gave it to the family of the deceased. Back on 2nd August 2013, there was an arson attack on the shop.

1 million baht. hmmm. that should translate to me ordering a Dr. Pepper, hamburger w/ cheese & medium fries, with just enough left over to put in the gumball machine here in the States. they should take out a couple of 0's in the numerical figure and then call it a baht. actually, 1,000,000 baht = $31,466.29 I was close. |

Not everyone can afford more than a Doctor Pepper!  What on earth caused this harmless looking couple to be targeted? They looked at some guy wrong or barred them from the store? Or did a son get into bad company? Either way, the scum responsible should get full payback from the legal system. And I hope the shop stays open. A general store can make or break the lives of other people too. |

Well, I would say from the booking pictures, both of them had a criminal record. So there is no telling what they were involved with.

i read the bullets were linked to other cases. Also some bomb explosions and they were part of a criminal group that wanted to create havoc in a few provinces before the tourism season.
