Tow Truck Driver Murdered His Soon-to-Be-Ex-Wife, Then Killed Himself
In São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, a 36-year-old tow truck driver, Luan N., shot dead his wife, 36-year-old Sandra S., before killing himself in the Botujuru neighbourhood. Sandra was murdered just a few minutes after having her nails done. She had told the manicurist that she had had enough of her husband's violence, and that she planned to leave him and take her four-year-old daughter (Luan was the daughter's stepfather) with her to a new address. According to the police, Luan had security cameras installed in their house to keep an eye on Sandra while he was working. Sandra switched the cameras off as she prepared to make her move, but Luan noticed that the cameras weren't working, and went back home to confront Sandra. During the argument, Luan committed the murder-suicide. According to her friends and neighbours, Sandra had been the victim of sustained physical abuse from Luan - she had even been stabbed by him at one point. She kept separating from Luan, and even filed a restraining order against him, but she was also determined to try and make the marriage work. Sandra's daughter was at school at the time of her mother's death.     |

Once you allow another person, be they male or female, to hit you and get away with it you either figure it out on the spot or it will figure you out down misery road. A good girlfriend of mine many years ago dated a guy who started beating her. It didn’t end well for either of them. This shit strikes a cord in me. It has a lot to do with respect. Respect yourself and others you don’t have this problem. Any person who hits another has neither.  |
