Our hospice patients were usually given a morphine or phenobarb drip, with healthy doses of lorazepam as needed. The drip could be adjusted (read: turned up) as well. Nitrous wasn't available to us in hospital, oxygen was used for comfort measures. |

That's amazing, you have the exact same method that I would think would be the best for euthanasia too. Except the nitrous part I would've never thought of that but I know I'm well aware from personal experience and the statistics of OD deaths that benzo's and opiates are the Best and most peaceful route. |
