Re: Teenager Hanged Herself
Confession.: these photos made me cry. I tried to hang myself from a window bar when I was a teenage girl. I came from a broken home. Dealt with emotionally abusive parents, an eating disorder, and general feelings of unworthiness and depression. My parents made me feel like an unloveable piece of shit and I had considered killing myself since as early as 5, to "punish" them and to make them show that they care for once. Luckily I did it half assedly. The rope broke almost right away and I never told anyone. As a 30 year old woman today, I realized this poor young girl who was suffering so badly that she decided to end her life could have been me. |

Most people who commit suicide aren't thinking rationally, whatever problem or problems troubling the person take over from rational thought. So I feel it's unfair to judge them like you would someone who is well and thinking rationally.

Re: Teenager Hanged Herself
Thats why in our family, we dont criticize any of the family member no matter how silly their worries are. we discuss the pros and cons like it was just a subject. give advice or accept it when necessary. and help out, comfort or just give a shoulder to lean on. with this, we learned that in order for our problem to be unbearable, the rest of the family should think it is that too. If some doesn't think so, then there's a way out of it.
