looks like maybe the jack was in trunk and went thru the backrests.why there was no bottom seat cushion who knows.I have seen them ejected in bad crashes on 2 occasions.she got tossed around hard inside the car after hitting windshield.And very well likely knew the driver was drunk.happens here way too often.allways young teens or early 20's.usually it's car vs tree on a curvy country road.
ive never had to be the one to inform the parents but have assisted in cleaning the dead ones up for thier family member to identify them except for a couple that were just too badly disfigured.

I do know quite a bit more than U think I do.
Ive seen this sort of thing for many many years in LE and it has gone both ways more than you could ever realize, so don't assume to continue to be a smartass and know it all. I have never been surprised or shocked by stories told by the surviving victims regarding the unfortunate fatalities.
Examples of what I heard:
I just picked them up, we just met, I had no idea they were DUI/DWI, Im just shocked they would put us/me in this situation. He/she loved me too much to do this to me. I don't believe you, your a liar. I wish I were dead. Please, kill me now. I wanna die. Why, why why...
